My goal is to bridge the gap between praxis and design, to benefit as many educators and students as possible.
Hello, I am Sekani Grant
I started Haus of Praxis because I saw a gap between what we know and what we actually practice. Between theory and action. Between learning and design. My career has been shaped by standing in that gap and building ways across it.
My roots are in education nonprofits, where I saw firsthand how much community and access matter. That work gave me a deep respect for the people educators serve and the conditions they work in every day.
I also spent time in social media management, which taught me how design and communication work together. Good content is not just what you say. It is how you present it and who you are saying it to.
As a Social Studies department chair, I led curriculum design and teacher development at the school level. And as an instructional coach, I learned how to meet educators where they are and build growth from there. Haus of Praxis brings all of that together.
Our Mission
At Haus of Praxis, the mission is to bridge the gap between learning and design, to benefit as many educators and students as possible.
Great instruction and great design follow the same principles. They are clear. They are purposeful. They are built around the people they serve. We exist to make that connection visible and usable for everyone who works in and around education.
That includes teachers, school leaders, nonprofits, and the companies that create tools and materials for educators. Every project we take on is in service of that mission.
